What every Land Surveyor should know when using an Attorney
Mr. Kurkhill graduated with a B.S. in Optics from the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY in 1983 and received his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University in 1993. His practice emphasizes all aspects of construction law involving single-family homes, multi-family and commercial projects. Mr. Kurkhill’s clients have included owners, developers, contractors, and design professionals. Mr. Kurkhill specializes in resolving complex technical and multiparty disputes through litigation, arbitration, judicial reference, and mediation. Mr. Kurkhill has negotiated construction contracts for projects valued at over $350 Million. Mr. Kurkhill also consults with other attorneys offering trial strategy, litigation support, and trial presentation graphics. His engineering experience includes four years in the aerospace industry and three years in product development. Mr. Kurkhill has lectured on many topics in the construction litigation field, including drafting and interpreting express indemnity agreements, risk management, developing and managing complex construction defect cases, and presenting construction defect cases for mediation and trial.
